Meet Lucy LouLou, a 3 year-old Lab mix who weighs 60 lbs and has a coat as black as midnight and eyes that will absolutely melt your heart. Lucy has been a resilient girl through a season of change, and through it all, her sweet nature hasn't wavered. She is a true family dog who has lived happily with children and cats. While she's a friend to other dogs, her "Lab energy" means she can be a bit exuberant, so she'd do best with dogs her own size who enjoy a little rough-and-tumble play. Lucy is fully prepared for her next chapter! She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is also currently finishing up her heartworm treatment (thanks to some amazing supporters who stepped up in her time of need) and is looking for a stable, forever home where she can finally plant her paws for good. She has been through a lot, but she is ready to give her whole heart to a family that will love her forever. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
