Meet Ruby! This sweet girl was rescued from a partner shelter. Shortly after we took her in, we saw she had some sort of injury to her back leg. X-rays confirmed that a previous injury had left the leg unusable. An amputation was performed, BUT do not let that fool you! Through all that, Ruby is still the sweetest and silliest girl around! She has adjusted to "tripod" life and is doing very well! Ruby gets along with other dogs and is crate trained. She loves head scratches and cuddles with people too! Come check her out! From Foster: Ruby is one of the sweetest and easiest dogs I have ever fostered. She is such a love bug and has a kind and gentle disposition. Ruby is house broken and walks well on a leash. She loves to be outside playing on the grass, but also enjoys hanging out inside the house as long as she is with her human. Don't let her disability scare you, even though she only has three legs, she can run, and climb stairs with ease. She is good with cats and other dogs, and keeps up with enthusiasm. Ruby deserves to be in a forever home with all the love that she is willing to give in return. Did I mention that she gives hugs?
