About Frankie
Click apply to start the adoption process. Frankie is officially ready for his forever home! He started out as the most timid of his litter, arriving from a commercial breeder deeply fearful of people and the world around him. Thanks to months of patient care and gentle encouragement from his devoted foster family, Frankie has truly blossomed. This sweet boy, once afraid to be touched, now leaps up on the couch for snuggles and showers his foster parents with loving kisses. Witnessing his journey toward happiness has been heartwarming. Frankie is happiest with other dogs and will require a confident canine companion in his forever home to continue building his confidence. He does well with cats and is making excellent progress with potty training. Because of his sensitive nature, he needs a patient family committed to giving him time to adjust. He must have another dog in the home, and no small children, as they can be overwhelming for him; calm, older children (middle school and up) are a good fit. Frankie is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and fully up to date on vaccinations, making him ready to begin his new life. Frankie has a "cherry eye," a common and generally harmless issue in Cocker Spaniels, so it should not cause concerns. He is searching for a loving, understanding family to call his own—could that be you? Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
