China is a six-year-old female Great Pyrenees, found as a stray. She is very sweet, good with other dogs, and can be a little shy at times. When she’s out of her kennel, she enjoys her time and attention and loves the outdoors. She has been with us since March 11th. Great Pyrenees are known for their gentle, calm, and affectionate nature, often forming strong bonds with their families. They are also known for their protective instincts (livestock guardians) and loyalty. These dogs tend to do well in families who can provide a lot of space, regular grooming, and a calm environment. They are generally good with children and other pets but can be wary of strangers. They require moderate exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy.
