About Stella
Stella is a 3.5-year-old Standard Poodle whose story is built on resilience and warmth. Still, none of her setbacks have dimmed her spirit. She first landed in a shelter because of seizures, but caring hands quickly stepped up, and Stella soon found herself in a loving home. For a while, it all clicked, and she was exactly where she belonged. But life shifted again. After nine months, Stella was returned—not because of anything she did, but because of her ongoing seizures. Through it all, she’s stayed the same gentle soul: open, happy, affectionate, and undeniably loving. She strikes a steady balance—happy lounging calmly by your side but ready in a second to jump into play with another dog. Stella is relaxed on leash, thrives on walks, and fits into all kinds of home environments. She’s especially gentle with other animals, easily fitting in with both dogs and cats, and she’s always delighted to soak up attention from children. Stella has epilepsy, managed with medication. Most of her seizures are brief and don’t interrupt her happiness, though occasionally, she may have a more intense episode. Her vet team is always tracking her progress. What matters most: Stella doesn’t see herself as waiting to be “fixed.” She’s already living fully and joyfully. She needs an adopter who will meet her with calm and confidence—someone who recognizes the remarkable, joyful dog in front of them and is not defined by her medical diagnosis. After all the changes in her young life, Stella deserves stability and dedication. Let’s make this next home her forever one. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
