About Cole

Cole is currently in a foster home while the search for his forever family continues. His temporary family shares wonderful stories about him and how well he adapts to home life, giving us great insight into his personality. This 10-year-old senior, who resembles a mixed breed Shepherd, is smart and loving. He thrives on routine, knowing exactly when it's mealtime and when it’s time for walks. Despite his age, Cole is lively and enjoys outdoor activities, especially splashing in water during summer. He’s sociable and adores getting pets, scratches, and cuddles whenever he can. While Cole doesn’t have a favorite toy, he loves a good game of tug-of-war with durable rubber toys or playing frisbee. He’s not one for plush toys, as they don’t last long with him around. If you’re looking for a companion to share your days with, Cole could be the one. Adopting him would give this sweet boy the chance to enjoy his golden years in a loving home. To meet Cole, head to our Manhattan Adoption Center, or submit an online application if he’s in foster care. All our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
