About Roberto
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Roberto—though he prefers the nickname Rumpie—a truly unique 4-year-old Domestic Short Hair cat with the heart of a wise old soul wrapped in the body of a handsome companion. Rumpie loves routine and enjoys keeping watch over you like a mini, furry supervisor, rarely missing any action, even if it cuts into nap time. Originally an outdoor cat, he still shows flashes of his clever instincts, responding quickly and moving with impressive agility, though he reserves his athleticism for short play bursts and prefers long, cozy naps near his favorite people. Once you earn his trust, Rumpie is an affectionate lap cat who will grant you the privilege of head pets and occasional belly rubs, but always on his terms. He communicates clearly and kindly, indicating when he's had enough affection—never to harm, only to express his limits. This social-yet-independent guy enjoys a busy home, isn't fazed by daily noise, and is perfect with the litter box. Currently savoring Sheba Chicken meals and sporting a low-maintenance coat, he’s easy to care for and rarely sheds. Rumpie is best suited to an adult home or one with older, cat-savvy children who appreciate feline boundaries. He shows some curiosity around other animals, but any introductions should be very slow and thoughtful, especially with those that could spark his hunting instincts. Roberto is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and patiently awaiting a forever home where he'll be cherished for his one-of-a-kind personality. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
