About Quasar

This could be the start of something paw-some. Quasar is a gentle 4-year-old little guy weighing just 8 pounds, and he's still looking for a family to call his own. He came to the rescue as a stray—thin, completely matted, and clearly in need of care. Now that he's been cleaned up, nourished, and shown some love, his sweet personality shines through. Quasar gets along wonderfully with the other dogs at the rescue and truly enjoys his time outside. Despite a rough start, he remains a kind, affectionate boy who just wants to feel safe and loved. With a bit more weight on him and a family to cherish him, he's sure to blossom even more. Because Quasar hasn't been observed in a home setting, his housebreaking status can't be guaranteed. He receives a full veterinary workup including spay/neuter, microchip, all age-appropriate vaccinations, blood and fecal testing with any needed treatment, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and a complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days post-adoption. Potential adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of the facility. If you have questions or want to meet Quasar, help this tenderhearted little dog find the safe and loving home he truly deserves. As a fun fact, with a February 13 birthday, Quasar is an Aquarius—a sign known for its friendly and unique personality! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
