Sugar Sugar 🍬 Sugar is a Doberman Mix, 60lbs., and her estimated birthday is 3/6/2024. Sugar is as sweet as her name. This beautiful Doberman mix is truly a gem and an absolute joy to be around. The first thing everyone notices about Sugar is her calm, gentle nature. She has a wonderful balance of being playful when it’s time for fun and relaxed when it’s time to unwind. Sugar enjoys playing fetch, but she’s just as happy curling up next to you on the couch or quietly hanging out around the house. She gets along well with other dogs, especially those who match her calm energy, though very hyper dogs aren’t really her style. She’s a well-mannered girl who already knows several basic commands, including sit, paw, and crate. Sugar is fully house-trained, potty-trained, and crate-trained, making her an easy addition to a new home. She’s also fantastic on a leash—walking gently with very little pulling—and she handles busy environments like kids and large crowds with ease. Sugar is still learning that jumping into the car isn’t so scary, but once she’s inside, she absolutely loves riding. Her favorite part is sticking her head out the window, feeling the breeze, and taking in all the new scents along the way. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter can track the van via the Life360 app and receive updates from the transport team along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed about tracking dogs on transport. You will need to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. *Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year. *Listed breed and age are based on a best-guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. *Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. *All our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
