Meet Lucia! DOB: 05/01/2023 Weight: 28lbs. Disposition: sweet, friendly, fun loving Lucia is a calm and gentle dog who shows quiet interest in people and gets along well with other dogs. While she can be a bit unsure outside and sensitive to loud noises, she walks calmly on leash and gains confidence with reassurance. History: Lucia was just two years old when she arrived at SOI Dog Foundation in May 2025 after a road traffic accident. She was in a coma with serious injuries, including a lung contusion, traumatic brain injury, and severe eye damage. Despite intensive care, her right eye could not be saved and was surgically removed to relieve her pain. With dedicated treatment and support, Lucia made a full recovery. She came to TBL in February 2026 to find her forever family. Best Home: She would thrive in a calm, quiet home with a patient individual or couple who can help her to continue building confidence. She would do well with a confident, well-balanced dog to show her the ropes, or she'd also be happy as the only pup soaking up all the love.
