Big Edie and Little Edie are a senior mother-daughter pair who were originally surrendered to a loud, crowded shelter through no fault of their own. FRA pulled them into foster, and now this sweet and snuggly duo is looking for a calm and soft place to spend their golden years. These two old ladies are friendly, cuddly girls who just want a soft bed, a warm lap, and cozy sunbeam to snooze in. They are still pretty spry and like to play with toys for a few minutes at a time, and they certainly won't say no to some treats! Big Edie is 15 and Little Edie is 13. Both girls have hyperthyroid, which is easily managed with a methimazole (a cheap medication that both take in a churu with zero drama). They also have signs of early kidney disease and heart disease, and will need routine vet care like any other senior pets. While we don't know how much time they have left, these two deserve to spend their golden years in comfort, and they will happily repay you with all the snuggles you could want.
