About Xena
#A5757363 Meet Xena ,a 2-year-old American Pitbull Terrier mix with a stunning soft brown brindle coat that looks just like faded tiger stripes. Her sweetly smooshed face - complete with the most adorable snoot wrinkles - and super expressive natural ears make her absolutely irresistible. Though she’s still very young, Xena didn’t have the best start in life and likely spent most of her time as a backyard dog with little training or socialization. She arrived with her sister Rhonda after the two got into some scuffles, which sadly led to them being surrendered. Because of this, Xena is looking for a patient and experienced adopter who can provide structure, guidance, and lots of TLC while helping her learn the basics like leash skills, potty training, and manners. She’d do best as the only pet in the home, where she can truly shine as the queen of her castle and grow into the loyal companion she’s meant to be. Could she be yours? -2 year old brown brindle American Pitbull Terrier mix -62 pound female - may need to be spayed upon adoption, but the shelter can likely help with this! -may also need the standard round of shots and preventatives before she can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this as well -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 2/23/26 as an owner surrender due to alleged “aggression with animals”, as she was reported to have fought with her sister Rhonda, #A5757365 -needs an experienced home where she can be the only animal, so she can be her best self XENA’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/oveGSbwy4qc For more information, contact volunteer Lor at lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.
