About Babbitt
Meet Babbitt, a happy-go-lucky pup whose joyful spirit is truly contagious. He's the kind of dog who reminds everyone around him how wonderful life can be, greeting people with a wagging tail and a warm, friendly heart. Sadly, Babbitt's early life wasn't so bright. He spent his entire life alone on a chain--no walks, no toys, no treats, just quietly existing day after day. When he finally arrived at a Tennessee shelter, he had a collar injury and healing wounds on his ears that told the story of the difficult life he had endured. At first, Babbitt was a little reserved, simply because he wasn't used to attention or kindness. But it didn't take long for his true personality to shine through. Once he realized he was safe and loved, he blossomed into a sweet andappreciative boy. Babbitt was dog-tested at the shelter and enjoyed the company of other dogs, so a home with friendly canine companions would be wonderful for him. He would likely do well with older, respectful children who understand how to be gentle with a dog. This good boy is well-mannered and fairly quiet. He enjoys spending time outside--especially now that it's on his own terms rather than being chained outside all day. Babbitt is already potty trained and quickly adjusted to a regular feeding and potty schedule. He sleeps comfortably on a raised bed with a blanket and walks nicely on a leash. Babbitt is also a big fan of treats and food--especially peanut butter Kongs! Toys are still a bit new to him, but with time and patience he'll likely discover how fun they can be. After everything he's been through, Babbitt is more than ready to experience what a real home feels like--a place filled with love, comfort, and the family he has always deserved. Whoever welcomes this sweet boy into their life will be rewarded with gratitude, loyalty, and a daily reminder that second chances can be beautiful.
