Oscar is a wonderfully sweet dog who just got a new fur-do and can't wait to find his new home to go with it! Oscar is very friendly and social yet easy-going. He was a very nice medium energy level and is just a lovely guy. He enjoys walks and playtime. *Oscar does have special medical needs- he is on a medication for seizures but they are regulated and he is doing well on his current medication and dosage.* - 5 years old, 17 pounds - Friendly, sweet boy. Loves to lay his head in your lap & just be by you. - Likes walks, cuddles and tummy rubs - Relaxed personality but still likes to get up & do stuff -Needs an owner who is comfortable with basic training & setting boundaries using positive reinforcement-based methods - Would do best as the only pet in the home. He has not done well living with cats, & prefers to not have dogs in his personal space. -Suggested for families with children age 10 & up case-by-case; Oscar has sensitivities to fast movements & loud noises at times. - Will require a medication to control seizures - currently seizures are under control with his current dosage and medication. - Neutered, microchipped and vaccinated Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible.
