Danube (approximately 45 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This friendly and handsome fellow got to spend a week in a Southern foster home, and his foster parents had a great time with him! Danube is loving, social, and energetic. He got along well with the other dogs in his foster home and even did well with the resident feline, although his cat interactions were always supervised by the foster parents. He is a playful pup who especially enjoys stuffed toys, his favorites being the ones that make a crinkle noise. Danube is not a frequent barker - he only barks at unfamiliar noises but will immediately quiet down when you ask him to stop.
