We weren't sure at first if Sawyer was a big fluffy shepherdy boy or if he was a teddy bear in a dog costume! This guy is about 81 pounds of a silly, derpy goofball and he just melts into love! He has no idea that he is a big boy-he believes he is a lap dog. Sawyer is a social dude. He likes to be where he can be the center of attention. And, realistically, how could he not be?! He is the coolest dog! He reminds us of a Marmaduke or Scooby Doo type of pup! Super likeable! It'd be great for whoever adopts him to have experience with large dogs. We are teaching him to take treats politely which he has nearly mastered! He knows how to sit and we are teaching him calmness; no surprise, he is thriving! Sawyer is just a happy guy. Depending on your resident dog, Sawyer may enjoy their company! He likes to roughhouse so any resident dog should be equally active! Kiddos should be about 10ish and older for Sawyer. We'll let you know what he thinks about cats soon! Our days instantly brighten when we get to be with Sawyer. He is just that enjoyable to be around. One of his signature moves is to come up for affection, then roll over onto your lap and melt further into the love. Sawyer is neutered so please come meet him!
