Meet Petunia The cutest red lab mix ever Breed: Red Lab Mix Weight: 17 lbs (45-50 lbs full grown) Age: 3 months Gender: Female, Spayed Good with: Children | Dogs | Cats Petunia and her ten siblings were rescued in Texas at just 5 days old. She was lovingly cared for, bottle-fed, and trained by a foster family down there before being transported to the Midwest- moments before the big storm. Thanks to her early twist of fate, Petunia is now ahead in skills, making her a great family puppy. Petunia's playful and sweet with other animals including cats and dogs of all sizes. Petunia likes to follow her humans around, randomly plopping into a "good sit" to get praise and treats. She is now working on "stay" and is showing her smarts. Petunia loves to munch, including on objects she shouldn't munch on...but takes redirections easily to toys. She LOVES toys that squeak and crinkle. She loves a good cuddle and nap after play. Petunia is remarkably well potty trained for a puppy so young. She still has some accidents in the house, if you aren't keeping watch. She uses puppy pads. She likes to be outside and has been a champ about all the snow that greeted her in Wisconsin. At her Texas foster home, Petunia slept overnight in a kennel, if you are interested in kennel-training. With Petunia's mix of smart and sweets, she would be a great addition to any family willing to keep up her treat-training and puppy energy.
