About Mama Tabitha
Mama Tabitha’s days of surviving on the streets are long gone. She narrowly escaped a brush with danger, scooped up just as a pair of coyotes approached, her trusting eyes fixed on her rescuer and the prospect of a warm meal. Since then, Tabitha has taken to indoor life with quiet relief—she curls up on her plush bed, relishes regular meals, and displays a soft gratitude. Tabitha is a petite Maine Coon mix, a mere 8 pounds and stunningly fluffy, her thick brown coat always looking its best. She’s tender and affectionate once she feels secure, but after what she’s been through, it takes time for her to trust new people and spaces. A gentle, patient adopter will watch her warmth slowly emerge. She thrives best in a calm, adult-only home—just one or two people willing to give her peace and attention. If possible, she would love to be adopted with her son Tiger, but she’ll also happily settle into life as a spoiled solo cat. Mama Tabitha was born under the sign of Gemini—no surprise she has a thoughtful, adaptable side when given time. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
