Riley was brought to the shelter after her previous owner passed away. She is about 6 years old. Riley is the queen of mixed signals. She is super sweet and affectionate, but will also let you know when she is done and is not afraid to show it with a hiss or swat. A lot of this is probably just her acting out since she is confused with being at the shelter. Riley was previously living with a dog but does not seem to be the biggest fan of other cats. We do not recommend she go to a home with small children in case she still decides to be her sassy self. We think that once Riley is out of the shelter, she will calm down and not feel the need to act out, but she will probably need some time and space while she adjusts to her new home.
