Meet Nyx - One of our resident VIP (Very Important Paws) at our Kosasa Family Campus at Ho?opili. Nyx is an active, athletic and highly intelligent girl who thrives when she has a job to do or a challenge to solve. Like many working-breed dogs, she needs consistent mental and physical stimulation to feel her best. Without it, she finds other ways, like chewing, to channel that energy. Nyx would thrive with a committed adopter or experienced dog owner who is ready to invest in her physical and mental fulfillment every day. Her recent Couch Crashers foster family mentioned that once Nyx's enrichment needs are met, she transforms into a loving, cuddly companion who's only job is winding down right beside you. Since being in our care, Nyx has shown to be selective towards other dogs. If you have any resident dogs at home, we require scheduling an on-campus meet-and-greet between them and Nyx to ensure everyone gets off on the right paw. Our Adoptions team will also counsel you on the slow introduction period when you first welcome Nyx into your ?ohana and to help set everyone up for success.
