About Mickey Jum

Oh Mickey Jum, what a character. This big, happy boy can't quite figure out why everyone keeps singing his name, but there's no denying his charm. After wandering the countryside, Mickey caught a lucky break and landed with a real rescuer. Now, he's living the good life and looking for someone who appreciates a big personality in a beefcake body—he tips the scales at about 70 lbs when neutered and carries it with swagger. Mickey is smart, affectionate, and loyal. He's always wearing a grin and loves to dole out kisses. You'll notice his powerful build is paired with a gentle spirit. Due to two injured knees, his days of intense running or jumping are behind him. He’s happy to go on moderate walks and enjoys being out, but he won’t be your marathon buddy. His left leg required surgery, but after complications, they left the other knee as-is—so don’t expect him to be an agility star. This big guy doesn't get along with other dogs and will do best as your one-and-only pet. He does, however, get along well with children and is eager to be someone’s loyal sidekick. Mickey is still working on his house training, so expect some patience and guidance to finish the job. He’s ready for a home in or near Austin, TX, with someone who’ll give him all the attention he craves. Your new best friend is just one click away.
