Miss Luna came to us with some skin allergies we are working to get under control, and we are making progress. But what we know so far: *almost six years old, 14 pounds *sassy shih-tzu/bichon mix *loving and snuggly * loves ALL people and kids *silly and loves to play fetch with a squeaky toy *expert squirrel chaser *will give you the business if you stop petting her *ok with dogs similar size; loves to run and bark at the fence with neighbor's Boston terrier puppy BUT does not want to play wildly with her *insists on sleeping with her person (has done this since a puppy) *not crate trained *house trained (mostly; has to learn the new routine) *enjoys car rides and going out in public ****will require lots of maintenance...allergic to dust mites and storage mites so home must have a minimum of rugs, pillows, etc. and be kept clean *gets monthly shots for allergy management *gets daily pill to manage the itch *will require monthly grooming at a groomer She is an awesome dog, just will require someone with knowledge about the breed and an understanding of her needs, as well as understanding of cost associated with keeping her healthy. www.emeraldcoastpetrescue.com/adopt
