Meet Yowler! A striking 13.6-pound orange gentleman with the classic good looks of an orange tabby and the independent spirit of a true working cat. Yowler is part of our Working Cat Program, designed for cats who thrive in outdoor or semi-outdoor environments rather than traditional indoor pet homes. Working cats come with a wide range of personalities- some are social, some keep their distance, and many take their "jobs" seriously by helping deter small critters around barns, warehouses, workshops, outbuildings, or other properties. Yowler is best suited for a setup where he can enjoy an outdoor lifestyle with a safe, protected space to eat, sleep, and settle in at his own pace. What working cats like Yowler need most is a home that understands their independence and doesn’t expect them to be cuddly or constantly engaged. With time, patience, and a consistent routine, Yowler will be a wonderful presence on a property looking for a natural, low-maintenance partner.
