About Cow
Cow likes to keep his distance at first. He’s a genuinely gentle soul—never so much as a hiss—but he’ll pull back fast if he gets nervous. He prefers to keep an eye on your hands and will dart away from sudden movement, but never lashes out. You’ll need patience, quiet energy, and plenty of treats to win him over. Once Cow decides you’re safe, he’ll let you brush and stroke him for ages, filling the room with a purr that comes out of nowhere. He’s a shadow until he isn’t. Toys are a newer discovery for him, but he throws himself into play. Laser pointers and wand toys will exhaust you before they do him. He’s lived his life around other cats—never bonded to one, but happy to co-exist—so Cow would do fine as a solo cat or in a home with other felines. Attention from humans is what matters most to him. There’s nothing average about Cow’s size. He’s massive for a cat, easily 17-18 inches tall when sitting. The lack of an undercoat rules out breeds like Maine Coon, and his growth after one year just adds to the mystery. Maybe there’s Ragdoll hidden in his family tree. Whatever the DNA says, you’ll never mistake him for an ordinary cat. Born May 15, Cow is a steadfast Taurus—the most devoted of signs. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
