About Corky

Meet Corky, a soulful-eyed hound and terrier mix with boldly patterned white and black fur and a pair of alert, perky ears. He’s all legs and puppy energy right now at just five months old, embodying resilience after a tough start in life. Corky was rescued from a situation where he didn’t get the care he needed, but since landing in Paramus, NJ, he’s transformed into a healthy, spirited pup who’s ready for a new chapter. Corky is affectionate and outgoing—he gets along with dogs, cats, and kids and would fit well with most families. Keep in mind he’s not house trained yet and will need patience on that front, but his sweet nature and playfulness make up for any extra work. A fenced yard is best, as he’s growing fast and has energy to burn. He’ll likely be a large adult, so plan for a sturdy companion. Corky is vaccinated, sports a short coat for easy grooming, and, as a fun fact, he’s a Sagittarius—adventurous and fun-loving at heart. He’s not yet neutered. To meet him in person, stop by Pet Supplies Plus in Hillsdale, NJ any weekend afternoon. All prospective family members, including other dogs in the home, need to meet Corky before adoption is considered. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
