Pooh and Ruby are a bonded Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix pair with a knack for winning hearts. Ruby is the tiny black female, Pooh the tan-and-brown male, and together they balance each other out—her boldness and his gentle trailing. Initially, both can be reserved, but a little patience (plus treats) works wonders. Once Ruby feels safe, she never leaves your side and will gladly curl into your lap for hours. Pooh takes longer to settle but becomes every bit as sweet, reaching for you when he wants to be held and getting bursts of playful energy, especially outdoors where his favorite things are tennis balls—and sometimes chasing Ruby. Due to Ruby’s small size, they need a secure yard so she can’t slip through any gaps. Both dogs aren’t yet house trained, but their eagerness to connect makes training possible for a patient owner.
