AvailableEclair is a large, mixed-breed (Great Pyrenees/Newfoundland Dog) female puppy, estimated around 9 months old. She has a soft yellow-tan coat and, despite a rough start, is known for her affectionate nature with people. Eclair is not yet leash trained and needs continued support to build trust and confidence. She is located in Richmond, MO and is seeking a stable, supportive home. Eclair is not spayed yet.
About Eclair
Eclair spent weeks wandering the roadside, unseen except for occasional glances from passing cars. When someone finally stopped to help, she was dehydrated, rail-thin, and nursing an injured hind leg from her time alone in the cold. Now safe, Eclair still processes the world with caution—new places and unfamiliar routines make her withdraw rather than act out. She won’t walk on a leash yet and tends to freeze up when overwhelmed, but has never shown aggression towards people. Around other dogs and food, she can be possessive, growling if she feels threatened. Feeding her separately is best, especially in homes with children, just to err on the side of safety. Despite her struggles, Eclair lights up around people she knows. In secure spaces, her playful side peeks out—she’ll hop, play bow, and soak up affection. She handled her recent car ride without trouble, quietly riding in the back seat. At just 6 to 8 months old and already 60 pounds, she’s a big, fluffy youngster with a gentle core, ready for someone steady and patient who’s willing to help her grow more confident. Eclair is in Richmond, MO, waiting to find her person. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
