About Marley
On August 5, 2025 Marley was found wondering a residential neighborhood, he looked exhausted. Turns out he was abandoned, and a Good Samaritan took him in. There was a person who was going to adopted Marley a few months ago but sadly that person had to leave the Country. Marley loves people and other dogs. He has been to different dog parks and loves meeting new dogs of all sizes and loves playing with them. With that being said, there was only one time Marley encountered a dog he did not like because the other dog showed aggression towards Marley. There was no incident just a little growling. This is mentioned because while Marley is excellent with other dogs it is always best to be aware of dogs that might show aggression towards Marley because he might respond to protect himself. Marley’s favorite thing in the world are CAR RIDES, he cannot get enough of being in the car. When you take him out for walks, he immediately walks over to the car and when you tug him to start walking in the other direction you can almost see the disappointment in his face. Marley does not like thundering, his foster will take him on a car ride and play the music loud and it instantly calms him down, that is how much he loves his car rides. Marley would do very well in a home with other dogs of any size. He seems to want to play with smaller dogs more, but likes to play with bigger dogs as well. Marley is just not a cat lover so he should not be adopted by someone who has cats. Marley also loves to play with just about any toy you give him. He is still very playful and right now his favorite toy is a small teddy bear. He will chase it around a room and toss it up in the air and start running all over the place with the teddy bear in his mouth. Marley likes his foster to chase him around acting like she will take his bear away. He also really enjoys watching TV, you can leave him in a room and put on anything and he will be entertained until he gets sleepy and then go for a long nap. Marley loves his dog bed but if his foster calls him over to join her on the bed for a cuddle session or a nap, he will come running. Marley sleeps in bed with his foster every night and loves to go under the comforter. Marley has been exposed to children at the dog parks and while he welcomed the attention he was more interested in the dogs. Marley has not interacted with children outside of the dog park but it’s safe to say he would do well with a family with young children, but it would be best if he would be adopted in a home with no toddlers. Probably 10 years or older would be a great fit for him so he has someone to play and run around with and then take a nap together.
