Junior is a 2-year-old Pit/Dutch Shepherd mix with energy and smarts to spare! He’s an active, playful guy who thrives when he has plenty of space to run, explore, and engage his mind. At first glance, Junior can seem a bit stoic and watchful in his kennel, but with a little patience, he quickly loosens up and shows his affectionate, playful side. He enjoys treats, leans into gentle pets, and loves to interact with people and other dogs once he’s comfortable. Junior is strong, energetic, and loves to move, so he would do best in a home with secure space to play, regular exercise, and mental stimulation. He’s still learning manners like leash walking and greeting politely, so a home with experienced handlers who can provide consistent training will help him thrive. He’s not recommended for homes with young children at this time, but with the right family, Junior’s loyalty, energy, and playful affection will make him an incredible companion. Junior is ready to find a home that can match his energy and give him the guidance and love he deserves.
