About Brave
Brave is a young, large, brown-and-chocolate mixed-breed dog with lots of Lab and Pittie energy, and she truly lives up to her name. She’s just over two years old and thrives on attention and play—nothing makes her happier than a game of fetch with a tennis ball (she’ll keep going as long as you will). Her energy hovers right in that sweet spot: enough for fun walks and playtime but not over the top. Brave came to the shelter as a stray, but she leans into affection and warmth as if she’s never been without it, soaking up every bit of human attention she can get. She isn’t house trained just yet, so she’ll need some patience as she learns the ropes in her new home. If you want a companion who is both playful and loving, Brave might be the fit you’re looking for. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Brave
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Brave is a Pit Bull Terrier/Lab mix who tends to do best in homes where she has space to play and interact with her family. She adapts well to both homes with fenced yards and larger apartments as long as she gets enough daily activity.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Brave would benefit from regular access to a yard or open area for exercise, especially since she loves playing fetch. While she can adjust to a home without a huge yard, daily walks and playtime are important for her energy levels.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Pit Bull Terrier/Lab mixes like Brave are often gentle and playful with children, provided they've been well socialized. Their zest for play makes them fun companions, but supervision with young kids is always recommended.
