Pauly is a 6-year-old, 15 lb tabby with gold eyes that look straight into your soul. His body is pure perfection: a solid loaf of bread, complete with man-hand paws and chubby cheeks. He loves to be brushed, caressed and kissed on top of his head. This resilient guy has been through a lot — he survived an attack that left him with a broken leg. It’s healed now, but he rocks a permanent little limp that only adds to his charm. Think of it as his signature swagger. Pauly is an affectionate, soulful companion. Within minutes of meeting you, he’ll be curled up and purring, leaning his full “loaf weight” lovingly against your leg. But don’t worry — he’s also got a healthy sense of boundaries and will gladly take himself off to a quiet corner when he needs a moment to reflect on life (or nap). He’s gentle with other cats, gets along with dogs and adores human company but would be best with older kids only. He communicates with an impressive vocal range — from dramatic “I’m a baby” meows to soft birdlike chirps that will absolutely melt your heart. He’s looking for a peaceful home where he can love, loaf, and live his best cozy life. But he also loves to play with his ribbon wand and does play fetch every now and then. His current foster has been getting him used to being in a harness and taking him on walks in his carriage. After settling in, he’s calm and enjoys car rides. He uses his scratching boards and little box like little gentleman, it’s not an exaggeration when his foster says, “he’s perfect." Pauly is compatible with other gentle cats and dogs. Pauly has been treated for parasites/fleas, up to date on vaccines, neutered and negative for FELV/FIV.
