Meet Daisy 🤍 Daisy’s story isn’t an easy one—but it’s one that deserves to be told. At some point in her life, Daisy experienced unimaginable trauma. She has shrapnel in her face that blocks her nasal airway, meaning she can only breathe through her mouth. On top of that, she has a heart arrhythmia, and her little heart could stop at any time. Because of this, Daisy is considered a hospice dog. With that being said, please don’t let that be the only thing you see when you look at her, because Daisy is SO much more than her diagnosis. She is full of personality—our little “bossy” lady who likes things her way 💁🏼‍♀️ She loves being close to her people, soaking up cuddles on the couch, and getting all the affection she can. She’s potty trained, does well in a crate, and is good with kids, other dogs, and even cats. She’s happiest in a calm home where she can feel safe and loved. She loves car rides, Beggin’ Strips, and being your shadow. She can be a little anxious when left alone and is protective of her people around new faces—but that just means her love runs deep. Daisy may not have a long timeline—but she has a LOT of love left to give. What she needs now isn’t perfection. She needs peace. She needs comfort. She needs someone willing to open their heart to a dog who deserves to know what true love feels like for the rest of her days.
