Raphael is an 11-year-old senior corgi mix with a gentle, loving personality. He may take a little time to adjust to new environments, but once he settles in, he becomes a calm and devoted companion who loves being close to his people. He enjoys cozy naps on the couch or bed, sunbathing outside, and going on walks, which are his favorite! Raphael is mostly low-energy but still likes to explore and sniff around the yard. He can be a bit vocal when excited and occasionally a little grumpy (he is a senior, after all), but he’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. He would do best in a mature household. He does well with other small dogs and has shown kindness toward everyone he’s met. Raphael would thrive in a loving, stable home looking for a loyal, easygoing companion. Please allow up to 24 hours for my foster parent to respond. Inquiries are answered in the order received, and the foster parent will let you know your place in line if there are other interested adopters. A meet-and-greet is required before adoption. Adopters should be available to meet within 48 hours of inquiring; otherwise, preference may be given to the next person in line who can meet sooner. For everyone’s safety, current pets are not able to meet the foster animal before adoption. After the meet-and-greet, you will have 24 hours to visit the HSPPR Adoptions Lobby (11:00am–4:30pm) to complete paperwork and finalize the adoption.
