Walhalla is a young, large American Bulldog mix with a short white, cream, and black coat. She is a spayed female and is up to date on her vaccines. Walhalla is not yet house trained. She is living in Maidens, VA where she awaits a patient, supportive home.

About Walhalla

Walhalla spent much of her early life outdoors, chained and isolated, which left her anxious and wary of people. She arrived so shut down she wouldn’t move, much less accept a leash. Over time, patient volunteers and the support of calm, confident dogs showed her a gentler side of the world. Now her shy exterior is giving way to an easy, gentle presence. Walhalla’s happiest when she has another steady dog as a companion, and she takes cues from dog friends as she adjusts to her new life. She’s spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, ready for a home that will treat her with patience and encouragement. Walhalla isn’t house trained yet, but she’s learning quickly in a nurturing environment. Give her the chance to build trust and she’ll return it, quietly and deeply. What are you waiting for?
