If you're looking for a fun, friendly dog who's always excited to see you, I might just be your guy. I came to the shelter because my owner joined the military and could no longer keep me. The good news is I've already learned a lot about living with people, and now I'm just waiting for my next family to come along. The first thing you'll notice about me is how friendly and social I am. I love meeting people and getting attention. Here's a little more about me: Playful and full of energy Crate trained Mostly potty trained I've lived with a cat before, but I'll be honest... I'm a playful guy and sometimes I like to chase them when they run. Because of that, I'd probably do best with a playful cat or a confident cat who won't mind telling me to knock it off. I seem to do well with other dogs and we expect I'd do just fine with respectful kids too. Since I'm still young, I'm learning my manners. Sometimes when I get excited, I might jump up to say hello. I'm not trying to be rude... I just get really happy to see people! With a little guidance and consistency, I'll have that figured out in no time. I'm also mostly potty trained. I've had the occasional accident, but with a regular routine and a little patience, I'll catch on quickly. What would make me happiest? A home with a big yard to run and play Daily walks and exercise Fun activities and mental stimulation A family willing to keep teaching me the ropes I'm still a young dog, which means I'm adaptable, eager to learn, and full of potential. We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!
