About Hansel
Hansel and his sister Gretel have settled into the adoption room, and Hansel is showing his relaxed nature. Gretel is still adjusting to the buzz of other cats and people, but Hansel keeps her grounded and reassured. They really are a striking pair and will bring a lot of beauty and warmth to their future home. These two need to be adopted together. Having each other helps them feel safe and adapt to new environments, and you'll be on the receiving end of real gratitude from both. Currently with a foster, they grow friendlier each day but are eager for a permanent home—one where they won’t have to start over again. Hansel and Gretel are playful with toys, especially crinkle balls and wand streamers. They typically greet their foster at the window and meow at the door for company. They’re best suited to a quiet home without young children but get along well with other cats. Both can be shy with strangers at first; they hid when a pet sitter visited, but once they trust you, Hansel becomes quite outgoing, affectionate, and loves to sit with you, especially if you’re on the computer. If you’ve ever wanted a cat who 'helps' with your taxes, Hansel’s your guy. Expect lots of chatter and playful energy. They truly belong together—adopting both is the way to bring out their best.
