They say good things come in small packages and Joey is living proof. Joey is a 1 year old, male, Chihuahua mixed breed looking for a forever home. This itty bitty boy may be shy at first, but give him a little time and you’ll see his gentle, loving personality quickly shine through. Once he feels comfortable, Joey is happy just to be around you. He absolutely adores being held and snuggled, making him the perfect companion for someone looking for a little shadow to carry and love endlessly.  He loves other small dogs and would do especially well in a home with a tiny canine friend to help him feel safe, show him the ropes, and work on his confidence. Come and apply to bring Joey home.  ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/4yy3nz2d - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
