About Robin
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Robin is an approximately 3-year-old, 45-pound Border Collie mix with a tricolor (brown, black, and white) coat and a heart full of love. Recently in need of a new foster home due to changing circumstances, Robin is looking for someone who understands the unique nature of herding breeds like him. Robin is a gentle soul who thrives with structure and routine. He enjoys a good game of fetch and loves winding down with cuddles and a nap. True to his breed, he is very intelligent, eager to please, and would excel in dog sports or with someone who enjoys outdoor adventures like hiking. He does well with other dogs—currently living with two corgis and respectfully taking their corrections—even though his playful energy is sometimes too much for smaller friends. Robin can be a bit of a 'bull in a china shop' when excited and doesn’t always remember his size. Because of this, he’s best suited for a home without children. He simply wants a kind and understanding person to share his life with, and in return, he'll be a loyal, happy companion. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
