HIP, HIP HOORAY IT’S FINALLY BILLY’S DAY! This Beagle boy has been waiting for 4+ years to finally be able to call himself adoptable. Billy was one of the lucky pups confiscated from a neglect case. He was living in close quarters with 30+ other Beagles used for hunting and confined to outdoor hutches. He wouldn’t be able to start his new chapter just yet thought. Like most pups living outside down south Billy contracted heartworm. It was a slight setback but Billy completed his treatment like a champ. Today is the day! Today Billy officially enters the adoption circuit in hopes of completing his rags to riches journey. As Billy’s personality blossomed we learned that he loves playing with other pups similar to his size. He can hang with the feline friends. Billy is working on his house, crate and leash training. Like most hounds he enjoys a good walk to get in all the good smells. He is a happy guy and once comfortable with humans he is a very lovable, loyal guy. He still gets startled from loud noises, quick movements, and will cower from time to time when being pet. Billy is 4 years old, and 35lbs.
