Yuki is available for adoption at Butte Humane Society. Yuki is a sweet and sensitive pup with a gentle soul. While he can be a little shy with people at first, other dogs are his comfort zone. He’s truly a “dog’s dog” and loves connecting with canine companions, quickly making friends and gaining confidence around them. Because of this, Yuki would do best in a home with another friendly dog, or with adopters who have a clear plan to add a second dog in the future. New environments can sometimes spook Yuki, so he’ll need a patient and understanding owner who will help him acclimate to home life. With consistency, kindness, and reassurance, he will continue to build confidence. Daily exercise, basic training, and positive socialization—always at Yuki’s pace—will help him thrive. Yuki may also do well with cats if slow and thoughtful introductions are used. Older kids who want to participate in his training and growth would likely be a great match, but a home with very young children may be overwhelming for him.
