HENDRIX Hendrix is a handsome Australian Shepherd mix with a sensitive and thoughtful personality. He is still adjusting to life in a home environment after having limited early human interaction, and he is learning at his own pace that people can be kind and consistent. Hendrix is a bit timid and takes time to warm up, but he continues to make progress with routine and structure. He must be placed in a home with another confident dog, as he relies heavily on canine companionship for reassurance and guidance. He is still learning basic skills such as leash walking and household routines, and will benefit from adopters who are patient, understanding, and committed to helping him build confidence through positive experiences. Hendrix would do best in a home with children aged 13 and older who can respect his space and allow him to come out of his shell naturally. With time and the right environment, he has the potential to form strong, trusting bonds. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and on preventatives.
