Meet Summer, a beautiful 5 year old purebred Chocolate lab (also known around here as a double chocolate chunk muffin!) This sweet girl is looking for a new beginning after her owner made the difficult decision to surrender her due to health circumstances that made it impossible to keep her. Summer has clearly been loved her whole life, and it shows in her gently personality and easy going nature. She is friendly, affectionate and happiest when she's near her people. Whether she's going for a walk, exploring the backyard, or just lounging nearby, Summer is the kind of dog who simply enjoys being part of the family. Summer has settled into foster care nicely and has already proven herself to be a wonderful companion. She loves attention, appreciates a comfy place to rest, and never says no to an adventure-especially if it involves fresh air and new smells!
