About Kali
Meet Kali! Kali is a female, French bulldog, who was born June 2023! She is only about 3 and has so much love to give!! Kali has gone through a lot on her little life! She has a condition called Tethered Chord Syndrome which has caused her walk/gait to be a bit wonky but with healthy weight gain and physical therapy, she has gained muscle and is doing very well! She will probably always a have a funny walk but is not in pain and won’t need any sort of surgery according to her neurologist. As a result of the tethered chord syndrome, she is incontinent so she will need to wear a diaper at least to start. She is showing signs of being able to partially control her bladder and bowels so there is hope that she will eventually be potty trained, its just a work in progress. In spite of all this, she is an absolute love bug and loves all people, dogs, and kids. She hasn’t been around any cats but her foster says she can’t imagine her having a problem. She is looking for someone special to adopt her and a plus if you have medical dog experience! Kali is being fostered in Richmond, VA. She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and her spay when age appropriate. To apply to adopt Kali, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt. Spay/Neuter Disclosure: Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics. Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption. Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
