Hi there everyone! My name is Licorice and I am 2 years old. I am a sweet girl that came to us as a stray and am ready for a new start! I am a friendly girl that has been excited to meet new people and other dog friends! I really enjoy saying hello to older gentleman so maybe I was owned by an older man? I would do well in a home with kiddos. I take treats nicely and you are able to take my toys away from me, though I REALLY LOVE the game of tug of war so be prepared to face me! I can be quite vocal when I play with toys and other dogs, but do not be afraid, I am just loud! Squeaky toys are my favorite and I like tennis balls too! I would really enjoy either a fenced in yard or someone who can take me on leashed walks - I walk nicely on the leash! My downfall is I am listed as cat selective. What does this mean? Well, I will confidently approach cats and based on certain behaviors staff has seen, I will likely chase them too. Now, if the cats are resting out of my reach, I will simply cast them a passing glance and pay them no attention. So while I do have a prey drive to chase, I could coexist with cats with a confident owner that will help me correct my behaviors! Please come out to see me!
