About Bolt

Click apply to start the adoption process. Bolt is an exuberant, goofy, and active pit bull terrier mix who thrives on having both human and canine companions in his life. Having faced abandonment as a puppy and never known the stability of a true home, Bolt has proven himself resilient and affectionate, easily winning over everyone he meets with his ‘teenager’ energy and heart of gold. Now living in a foster home, he dreams of trading his foster status for a place to call his own so he can enjoy outdoor adventures, patio dinners, and plenty of playtime and zoomies with friends. Bolt’s playful spirit is matched by his intelligence—while his curiosity can sometimes lead him to leap a four-foot fence, he always returns when called, eager to please and eager for more fun. He does require daily medication for a heart murmur, but his cardiologist says a simple pill is all he needs to keep enjoying life to the fullest. It's important to note that Bolt is looking for a cat-free home, but he adores other dogs and does well with children. He’s house trained, vaccinated, and ready to bring his unique brand of happiness to the perfect family. There’s no one quite like this sweet, silly boy—are you ready to give Bolt the loving forever home he’s been waiting for? Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
