Hi, I'm Petra! When a good samaritan found me, I was alone, pregnant, and begging for food at a busy gas station. I would sit by the door, making eye contact with customers walking by, hoping they'd think to buy me some tuna. When they'd walk out, I'd meow and roll on the ground with excitement and anticipation. I guess I got super lucky because the good samaritan who discovered me contacted a rescue group and paid to have me all fixed up at the vet. The vet said I was a healthy, young cat, and ever since then, I've been learning what it means to be a spoiled house cat in my foster home! My foster family says I'm super playful like a kitten. It could be that I haven't felt safe enough to let loose and have fun before. But I'm making up for lost time now! My favorite toy is the wand toy - especially when you swish it high in the air so I can jump up and catch it! I also love if you move your hands and feet underneath a blanket so I can pounce on them! I have big, beautiful eyes that look extra cute when I'm hoping for some pets, playtime, or a churu treat. My foster mom says they're irresistable! When I've worn myself out from playtime and snacks, I like to curl up with my human to take a bath and then settle in for a cat nap. I love making biscuits on a soft blanket in a warm lap. I'm just grateful not to sleep on concrete anymore. My ideal home is one that's on the quiet side as I'm still getting used to the noises and routines of human homes. Once I get to know you, I'm very affectionate, playful, and loving. I'm still not sure about being picked up, but my foster mom thinks I'll get used to it with time.
