- Lafayette came to us as a stray that was turned into the Sioux Falls Humane Society. He had a bacterial skin infection & was extremely scared. He has since been neutered & treated for his skin infection and has become a much more outgoing cat. He would make a great companion for someone who wants an easy going feline friend but doesn't need to do a lot of cuddling or handling! While he is affectionate, he can bite affectionately but his bite inhibition is not great (though it's gotten better since he was neutered). For this reason, we'd prefer a home with no children or at least older teenagers who can observe his behavior & handle him appropriately!
