About Juniper!
Juniper, also known as Juni, is a lively and sweet Terrier/Cattle Dog mix with a medium to high energy level. She weighs about 20 lbs and thrives when romping around in the yard with other dogs or tossing toys around. If you throw a ball, she might not fetch it, but she'll gladly chase after the dog that does. Juni’s still a puppy at heart—she’s curious, active, and benefits from plenty of things to do, both physically and mentally. Her ideal day is split between playtime outside and relaxing on the couch with her favorite people. While crate trained, Juni prefers being part of the family action and doesn’t love being left alone for extended periods. She’s making good progress with house training and is learning to walk nicely on a leash. At home, she does well with other dogs, enjoys respectful play with dog-savvy cats (though she may chase if they run), and will do best in a household without small or shy children. Juniper is shy at first with new faces but warms up with patience, treats, and gentle introductions. Her alert bark makes her best suited for a home with a yard, not an apartment. She’ll do well with an active family who can involve her in their outings—or with another young, playful dog to keep her company. A little patience and continued training will go a long way for this smart and affectionate companion. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!

Questions about Juniper!
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Juniper, a Terrier/Cattle Dog mix, will thrive in an active home with a yard and plenty of space to play. She is not a great fit for apartment living due to her alert nature and need for outdoor activity.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Juniper benefits from having a yard to run and play in, as both Terriers and Cattle Dogs need room to expend their energy. A fenced yard is ideal for her daily exercise and mental stimulation.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Juniper would do best with older, respectful children over 12 who understand dog behavior. Terrier and Cattle Dog mixes can be nervous around younger kids or loud environments.
