Before he was a year old, Mojave's owner died, and the Ventura Veterans' group brought him to us. We got him neutered, vaccinated, and chipped, and he quickly found a great home. Unfortunately, the resident cat there became so upset by his presence that she quit eating, and his adopter had no choice but to return him. Back at the cafe, we saw that he had a minor dental issue, which has since been treated. He is a great cat who has had a run of bad luck-- none of which has been his doing. He is shy right now, but we know he can be a sweet purr machine if given the chance. We hope the right person finds him soon.
