About Bear
Bear is a four-year-old long-haired black cat with a soft, fluffy coat and a gentle personality. He came into rescue after his previous owner could no longer care for him, arriving with patches of hair loss from stress-related over-grooming. With steady care and a calm space, his coat has grown back and he’s returned to a happier, more relaxed self. Bear is quiet, easy to love, and just needs a bit of patience on arrival. He tends to be shy at first but, once settled, he warms up into a truly affectionate companion who enjoys being close by his people. Bear gets along with other cats and dogs if introduced thoughtfully and would do best in a calm home with adults who understand he may need a little space to bloom. If you are looking for a mellow, loyal companion, Bear is ready for a soft landing in Stamford, CT. Click apply to start the adoption process.
